@Event Ping Hello you poor unfortunate souls! Captured people, you wake up / blink / come to your senses / whatever else, and find yourselves in the well secured, well locked up #temhruuhi-brig of IRW Temhruuhi :) (It's a place for imprisoned folk to continue to roleplay until we move on in the story. Not much to do... just chat, regret, and wonder what will happen to you? Have fun?..)

Just know that we're back, and the next story beat is around the corner! Short recap: * Uh oh, T'Shai turned out to be a spy and a traitor. Starbase 777 has been invaded with some unfriendly visitors... * Multiple people have been captured. They all ended up in the #temhruuhi-brig of some unknown vessel... leftover agents are currently in the #int-hub . * In the meantime, some unknown signal penetrated #cmd-hub , and someone is contacting #engineering ... HELLO MY LOVELY LITTLE PRISONERS. I'm choosing not to Event Ping because it's not relevant for everyone, but if you have a character that was taken by the Tal Shiar, expect a DM from me in the not-so-distant future, and by that I mean I'm going to start working down the list [checks watch] right now. So make sure to have your DMs open enough that I can worm my way in there

@Event Ping Hii! We're pausing GM activities for today, meaning that you guys are free to keep roleplaying, but we're tapping out til tomorrow. - With the an anonymous helping hand posing themself as an enemy of the Tal Shiar, 777 was able to free their systems and such from 99999 years of maintenance. - We're revving up to go after the warbird with the prisoners on board! If you have an officer on the station, you can send them to the USS Eventide to get ready for a high speed space chase >:) - All our prisoners are now on board, so who knows what awaits them on the IRW Temhruuhi and beyond..? @Event Ping Day 3! To recap: * People who are stuck in the #temhruuhi-brig had a brief interaction with the agents. While their intents don't seem to be outright violent, the reasons behind their intrusion and kidnappings are still unknown... * The starbase has been revived, it's shields and communications up once again. It's also known now that there is a big cloaked ship in it's proximity - likely to house the taken. * The Eventide has been revived as well - and the officers have been told to board it to go and take their kidnapped officers back. Let's kick it off, shall we?

@Event Ping Just a reminder that we're in the middle of a chase right now - if you have characters on Eventide, they can be on the bridge / communicate with the bridge and other places via comms :)

@Event Ping Okay, that's us wrapping up for tonight! I'm retracting your Eventide typing rights because as of now, she is out of commission. - The chase proved unsuccessful, with the Eventide quickly being outnumbered and dead in the water. The Temhruuhi went into warp, unfortunately taking the prisoners with them. Time to recoup, recover, and try again! All seems bleak right now, but don't worry — we've got a plan, and everyone will be home safe and sound by the end of the event. It, uh, will get worse before it gets better, though. Let's see... - More breakthroughs made by the 777 team, about both allies and enemies alike.. - ..Including the fact that the station has been compromised for at minimum six months. Oh dear. - Elohae, Tavek, and Shane were on today's chopping block, with the latter two still being in progress of their own special torment. Check them out in the interrogation channels or laboratory :) - Rhean is off on patrol after mentioning "shooting down a shuttle". I wonder what news he'll bring back?... @Event Ping hello mythbusters, I've... ran out of prison references. It's the finale! We're continuing on with the infiltration. I would like you bunch to separate into three teams, or to at least state which levels you want to go to. This is a more forgiving part of the narrative, where we can bullshit up faceless NPCs participating in the rescue, so at least 2 people per level would be very nice. Engineer characters can also have some fun beforehand with messing around the prison systems. Alright. Shall we continue?

@Event Ping And... it's done. Holy shit. First of all, I want to thank you all who participated. This has been a wild ride in many ways, and to see it go through, from the start to the finish line, is quite insane. This is an end to a whole series of events. I hope that you guys enjoyed it, despite the occasional ups and downs, and it gave you something to think about or work with roleplay-wise. Second, and most importantly, I want to thank @wren , @Aaron , and @Mari for their amazing support and help during this event, which would've been impossible without them. They had to work their asses off just as much as I did - some days even more, when I couldn't pull my weight. Genuinely, thank you, thank you, thank you. I owe you, guys. This event, of course, will leave it's mark. Both with the cheeky little canon divergence with the death of the canonical leader of Mol'Rihan (shoutout to Fern!), and just... the Everything that had happened. Most importantly, though, is the impact on characters, of course. Have fun with that. The scenes that have started in the event channels can be finished, of course. Perhaps they can be open for one more day? If admins are okay with that. Again, thank you. I am winded out and tired, but... I think it was all worth it. Yuga
